Future Milestones

1. Increase in production for the second growing period (June. 2025)
The second production is planned for June 2025. We will grow more gardens and double the production of mushrooms for more income production and growth of the project. The plan is to work 200 to 250 hours per month in the company.

2. Family Business (Sept. 2025)
From September we want to further expand the production. The plan is that my two brothers will work for the mushroom farm for about 60-80 hours per month in addition to their other regular work. I will become a full-time entrepreneur myself. The total number of available hours will then be 300 hours per month…

3. Register my business (Dec. 2025)
In December 2025, the application for registration of the company “Birungi mushroom farm” is planned to be sent. The application is expected to be effected in December 2025.

4. Construct a structure in the extra space to expand the farm and grow more gardens (Jan. 2026)
The construction of the mushroom shelter has been planned for January 2026. The construction is estimated to cost around 260 euros.
